Q: How can I identify what model and year Honda is in my garage?

Q: How do you know if a part is Honda Genuine Part?
A:
This is a very good question and easy to answer. Chances are you're going to have your favorite Honda serviced or repaired at some time and you will require some replacement or maintenance parts. If work is done at a Honda dealer, you can be assured that your dealer will choose to use Honda Genuine Parts. And here's why it's a good thing for the dealer. First of all he wants to make you a happy Honda customer every time you visit. Your dealer's Honda-trained service technician wants to complete the repair in a minimum of time and effort to maintain the quality of your Honda's original factory specification and performance. Next, Honda Genuine Parts are the exact, original parts to repair your machine to its original condition. Rest assured that your Honda dealer uses Honda Genuine Parts exclusively for repairs covered under your Honda Care vehicle service contract and Honda Genuine Parts are used on all warranty repairs to maintain your machine in top condition as well as to continue the balance of the unit warranty.
So whether you're going to do your own service work at home or are having service and maintenance chores performed at your Honda dealership, look for the Honda Genuine Parts logo. Insist on Honda Genuine Parts. After all nothing fits a Honda like Honda Genuine Parts.

Q: Are there any parts catalogs available?
A:
Select parts catalogs are also available in hard copy form. Check with Helm for availability and pricing.
Q: Do you have publications for older models?
A:
Many of the older "out-of-print" owner's and service manuals, and some parts catalogs are available in the form of print on demand, using high quality reproductive copiers. These are not micro-fiche, but hard printed copies.
We searched high and low to find original manuals, cleaned off the dust and had them scanned into digital format for use with the specialized printing equipment. The covers for these manuals are generic black and white.
While we located more than we expected, we didn't find them all, so you will have to check with Helm for availability and price.
Q: Do you have manuals in any other languages?
A:
To meet the increasing demand for Spanish-language ATV manuals, we have translated several service manuals and owner's manuals for late model ATVs. Again, check with Helm for availability and pricing.
Q: I own an older bike that I did not purchase new. How can I find out if there are any recalls or product updates on it?

Your Honda dealer is your best source of information. You can also log onto Honda's OwnerLink and enter the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to get a list of updates for your model.
